We are now hiring full time Storekeepers to work in our Airline Stores Department at our flight kitchen located at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, British Columbia.
A Storekeeper will be required to:
- Physically receive and put stock into inventory
- Pick and deliver daily orders including replenished supply carts to various locations within the Operations Departments
- Pack and return excess stock to suppliers
- Conduct physical inventories as required
- Work safely at all times, respecting specified rules and regulations while adhering to specific customer guidelines
Job Specific Requirements:
- Obtain and maintain, a Transport Canada Security Clearance
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Manage your time and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
Our Employees Must Be Able to:
- work in a detailed and methodical manner while adhering to tight timelines dictated by the airline industry
- work an assigned schedule which may include days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
- work overtime when required
- arrive to work on-time
- pass a criminal background check
- follow directions and communicate with supervisors and co-workers
- work as a member of a team within their department and work closely with various other departments
- must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience and operators’ certificate are preferred but not a requirement as we can provide training
