We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better.

Reporting into the Supervisor Food, the Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for being the liaison between production and the management team.

Function as a liaison between production and management.

o             Maintain the effective and efficient operation of the production plan on given shift by:

o             Supervising Production Status

o             Direct, Re-allocate or Perform (hands-on) changes to plan

o             Capture and track deviations to plan

o             Validate Food Safety / HACCP as per plan per shift.

o             Ensure all quality control and sanitation procedures and standards are maintained.

o             Ensure employees adhere to and understand safety procedures and guidelines.

o             Support on going development of staff to ensure optimal performance.

o             Understand, support, and ensure full implementation of operation process.

o             Ensure Customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.

o             Possession of a RAIC or ability to attain one is a must.

o             Possession of a DA or ability to attain one is a must.

o             Ability to use/learn in-house software programs, Windows/ Microsoft Office, SAP, Airline software: FIDS, Sabre.

o             Ability to adapt to change and manage a high volume of work.

o             Ability to liaise effectively in a unionized environment.

o             Ability to work independently.

o             Ability to adapt to change.

o             Ability to handle a high volume of work and maintain confidentiality.

o             Ability to work in an environment that encourages and foster teamwork, participation, creativity, openness, honesty and mutual respect.

o             Ability to adapt to change and manage a high volume of work.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Degree/Certificate in Finance, Business, Culinary Arts preferred

Work Experience:

  • Experience with accounts payable a strong asset

Communication Skills:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • Must have the ability to communicate and disclose data in an accurate manner.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with management team and staff.
